NEW 2.048 pressure levels
Intuos4 doubles the levels of pressure sensitivity from 1024 in Intuos3 to 2048 levels, which together with the new Wacom Tip Sensor design, provides unsurpassed pen control and sensitivity. Now, the Intuos4 allows you to control software tools like exposure, brush width, eraser size and opacity even more finely than before by changing how hard you press the pen to the tablet surface.
Reduced activation force
The minimum activation pressure has been reduced from 10g to less than 1g. This was a top rated feature request from many users.
NEW Precision Mode
New Precision Mode function where the whole tablet suddenly represents a portion of the screen instead of the whole screen can be accessed at the touch of an ExpressKey for improved pixel-level control.

Tilt
All Intuos4 tablets and pens recognise tilt angles of up to 60° - important for realistic paintbrush simulation and the creative use of controllable tool tip width.
Display Toggle
The display toggle offers increased flexibility in multiple monitor environments and allows you to easily switch between screens.
NEW Design
Intuos4 tablets feature a new, thinner, ergonomic 'digital craft' design that can be optimised by the customer for left and right handed users. They also provide new ambidextrous user mode that eliminates risk of accidental function activation by the non-dominant hand and a new surface texturing enabling smooth, consistent strokes even over long periods of time.

NEW Grip Pen
Discover the new cushioned, ergonomic pen with the look and feel of an elegant writing tool for maximum comfort and control. Packaged with four different nib styles, the pen gives you a choice for a natural pen-on-paper feel. A 'thick bodied' replacment pen grip is included for those preferring a thicker grip on their pen.
NEW ExpressKeys
Intuos4 offers a new ExpressKeys layout and functionality with a programmable Touch Ring that makes scrolling, zooming, brush size selection, canvas rotation and layer selection more efficient. 8 ExpressKeys all easily and ergonomically accessible by the non-dominant hand.
